Postpartum Lunacy

This is supposed to be a fetus... Since I sent off the short story I wrote to the magazine in Vancouver, British Columbia, and since I've had the week off, school and haven't gotten many shifts at [Pages], I've spent most of my time figuring out what to do with myself. I have a hankering to do more short stories. The more I think about it, the more I realize how much fun I had writing the surreal story (which should now hopefully have many Vancouverite eyeballs all over it). I may have to do some more some time soon and see if anybody else out there is willing to waste their time reading the lunacy spewed from my mind.

I do have a few ideas in store. I won't share them on here, but most of them are along the lines of surrealism and black humour, no surprise there. I love preposterous premises. Though I have to admit, some stories in the news have been beating me at my own game. Stories such as John Thain, the bailed out CEO who spent five figures on toilets and trash bins, the events of a Chinese businessman who had a competition to see which mistress he would keep leading up to the first loser driving them all off a cliff, and a 41 year old transsexual exercising his/her 73 year old dimwit husband to death. Hopefully I still have a few warped ideas up my sleeve.

See everyone in hell!
